NEXT MEETING BY ZOOM SATURDAY 18TH July 10am to 12.30
The next meeting will be a Saturday morning zoom when we show our AVs and
invite comments from an appreciative audience. We were very pleased with
your productions related to poetry last July.
This time the task is called Photo Harmony. They must be saved as MP4s for
zoom. From RPS web site
“Photo Harmony should demonstrate skill in the production and visual
progression of still images linked to sound. No script, words or story with a
specific beginning, middle and ending are required but the images must flow
well in a pleasing progression, not just in a random manner. Preferably the
music and the pictures should end together”.
We’re not going to be as strict as this so you can use a song or words from a
poem to help your pictures along. I once did an AV based on ‘The Ugly Bug ball
sung by Burl Ives” . There’s an idea for you nature photographers and you don’t
have to literally illustrate it or you can simply concentrate on one item such as
Butterflies of Europe for example.
These are examples of photos which because of the spring greens in the lake
district could easily blend together as part of a ‘Harmony ‘
Sequence.
